VINTAGE
2016
Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Region: Valle de Parras, Coahuila, Mexico.
VINEYARD
1597 is crafted from the vineyard forward, where only the finest parcels of the Valle de Parras are carefully selected. Each plot destined for this wine receives precise, differentiated management to ensure the highest quality in every cluster. Yields are strictly controlled, averaging five to six clusters per vine, encouraging concentration and complexity in the fruit. Precision viticulture allows for the adjustment of every variable—irrigation, pruning, sun exposure, and vine load—with a single purpose: to express the soul of the vineyard in its purest form. The result is exceptional fruit, born from meticulously cared-for vines, reflecting the character and authenticity of the land where Mexican wine was born.
VINIFICATION
Each varietal is vinified separately in fermentation tanks using some of the most advanced, natural, and eco-friendly technologies to ensure gentle and selective extractions.
AGING
Each varietal undergoes separate aging in new barrels for 12 months. Following this, the Casa
Madero team meticulously tastes each barrel to select those of exceptional quality. The chosen barrels are then blended and aged further in barrels for an additional 12 months.
