2020 – 2021:
Puntaje más alto en la Guía Catadores del Vino Mexicano.

1597 Selección Barricas recibe el puntaje más alto. En su octava edición, la Guía Catadores del Vino Mexicano 2020/2021, escrita por el crítico culinario Rodolfo Gerschman, reconoció con el puntaje más alto a nuestro vino conmemorativo 1597 Selección Barricas como el mejor vino de su categoría. Esta Guía reúne y califica a 500 vinos mexicanos y es reconocida como el mejor libro de México en el Gourmand World Cookbook Awards en París 2020 dentro de la categoría de Vinos del Nuevo Mundo.

2020:
Double Gold. VINUS, Argentina.

The 2020 edition of the Concurso Internacional de Vinos y Licores VINUS Argentina, awarded Double Gold Medals to our Gran Reserva Shiraz 2016 and to our Casa Madero Malbec 2018. This competition is in the Top 20 of the World Ranking of Wines & Spirits (WAWWJ), placing it amid the most important competitions of the world and the highest ranked in Latin America.

2020:
Grand Gold. Sélection Mondiales des Vins, Canada.

Our Gran Reserva Shiraz was awarded the
Grand Gold Medal and placed at number 38 in the competition's Top 50 wines. This event is considered one of the most important worldwide by the World Ranking of Wines & Spirits (WAWWJ).

2019:
Gold. Decanter World Wine Awards.

Decanter World Wine Awards is among the most important competitions in the world. Its 2019 edition had a jury composed of over 280 jurors from 30 countries, with 70 Masters of Wine and 23 Master Sommeliers among them. Almost 17,000 wines from 57 countries entered the competition. Our Gran Reserva Malbec 2015 was awarded 95
points and a Gold Medal.

2018:
Grand Gold. Internationaler Bioweinpreis, Germany

The most important international organic wine competition of the world, it’s known for placing emphasis on the terroir. PAR® Certified Masters, evaluate each ecological wine. On this occassion, 648 wines from 18 countries were evaluated and our Casa Madero Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, was awarded 98 points and a Grand Gold Medal.

2017:
Grand Gold. Mundus Vini, Germany.

At the Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI in 2017, close to 200 wine experts critically judged almost 6,200 wines from over 150 countries around the world. Casa Madero Reserva Shiraz 2013 was awarded the Grand Oro Medal with a special mention of “the best wine in Mexico.”

2016:
Primer Pago de América, Spain.

The Grandes Pagos de España Association brings winemaking estates together, all promoting and defending the Pago Wine viticulture, an ancestral concept of quality wine. The Association visited our country to recognize Casa Madero for its work in viticulture in Mexico. Along with this visit, the Spanish Association Grandes Pagos awarded Casa Madero the Primer Pago de América status. This title gives Casa Madero the possibility to produce a specific kind of wine within a limited
area of land, using exceptional grapes that set Casa Madero apart from neighboring producers.

2014:
Revelation Wine. Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2014 gathered 300 wine tasters from 40 nationalities to
perform a blind tasting assessing 8,060 samples from 41 countries. It awarded the Grand Gold Medal to our Casa Madero Malbec 2012, a prize given to less than 1% of all participating wines. Our Malbec 2012 is the only wine of the Malbec
variety to have won this medal. It was also named Revelation Wine of 2014, along with 5 others.

2013:
Double Gold and Best White Wine. Vinalies International, France.

Our Chenin Blanc 2012 was awarded Best White Wine at France's most important competition, Vinalies International Competition, Paris. 3,425 wine samples from 43 countries were blind-tasted by 134 professional wine tasters from around the globe. Our Chenin Blanc was awarded a Double Gold medal and selected as Best White Wine of the event in 2013.

2007:
Grand Gold. Internazionale Vinitaly, Italy.

The Internazionale Vinitaly Contest, organized by Veronafiere, is Italy's most prestigious competition. Over 3,000 wine samples from 32 countries participated. In 2007, our Casa Grande Chardonnay 2006 was awarded the Grand Gold.

2005:
Grupo Enológico Mexicano premia a Casa Madero.

Casa Madero se convierte en la primera vitivinícola nacional premiada por el Grupo Enológico Mexicano, que en 2005 galardona con tres preseas Racimo de Oro y una presea Racimo de Platino a Casa Madero.

2004:
First gold for Casa Grande Shiraz.

Our first vintage of Shiraz Casa Grande 2001 (today known as the Gran Reserva Collection) was
awarded a gold medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. This international competition was created in Belgium in 1994. The jury is composed of highly respected members of the winemaking world, who blind-taste over 7,000 wine samples in what becomes a very competitive competition for
medals

1995-2004:
Great International Awards.

During these years, we participated in close to 70 international competitions and were awarded over 100 medals. Decades of high-quality work and experience, both in the vineyards and in the winery, resulted in these and many more prizes
obtained in prestigious international competitions.

1989:
First International Competitions



Casa Madero represented Mexico in competitions and surprised the world by receiving prizes in London, England, and New York, USA. These included:

Gold Medal for Casa Madero Cabernet Sauvignon at Intervin International Award 1989, NY, USA.

Gold Medal for Casa Madero Merlot at Monde Selection London 1989, London, United Kingdom.

Gold Medal for Casa Madero Chardonnay at Monde Selection London 1989, London, United Kingdom.

Silver Medal for Casa Madero San Lorenzo Blanco at Monde Selection London 1989, London, United
Kingdom.
